Michael was awkward and argumentative he hated the tartan trousers our mam wanted him to wear and he loathed singing “Daily Daily…” in our car trips. He was a half decent high jumper for school athletics and basketball for Durham Sinners. Talented musician which was his life long passion. He was incredibly well read and had strong opinions on all the important issues of the day. Disliked conflict and would go a mile to avoid a personal argument. His love for his children Cian and Roisin was unquestioned and unconditional. Fortunately we had time together a few days before his untimely and far too early death. He suffered with his MS condition for years but managed nonetheless to keep himself and his mental health active and occupied. I loved him and will miss him so terribly but thankfully he can now be at peace and pain free. God bless Michael all my love Anne.
